[Video] Build Your Own Forex Trading Robot

I was just looking  through some old files I’d created when I first started ATS back in 2008 and I came across one of the first videos that I ever made. It was pretty funny to see the video again as I literally hadn’t looked at in years and it was weird to notice some of the crazy comments that people had left.

Obviously some of the comments were just from people looking to market their product or website but some of them were from genuine visitors who seemed to be quite mad at me for some reason. Some of them were upset because I wasn’t providing a step by step tutorial showing how to write the expert advisor that I was showing in the video while others even went so far as to suggest I hadn’t written the EA at all and was just pretending.

If you know me even a little bit you’ll know that I’m not in the habit of lying and I’m most certainly an MQL programmer so the insinuation was quite amusing to be honest. As for showing exactly how I built the EA well that would take many, many hours and for the most part would be a futile exercise. My intention with the video at the time I produced it was just to show that with a little bit of study and practice anybody can create their own working and profitable automated trading software. I believed it then and I still believe it now.

Just in case you’ve never seen the video here it is for you viewing pleasure (!). If you feel like leaving a comment then please go ahead. Hopefully it’ll be something a little bit more constructive than some of the ones that people left years ago.

Hope you enjoy the video and don’t find my accent too ‘weird’ (read the comment that somebody posted to see what I mean – it’s funny!)

Yes Steve, very interesting. About that 5 day free course… signed up for that and enjoyed 4 days. Then you stopped sending me the daily emails. No day 5. It’s like reading a thriller and finding the last page missing. Please send me day 5. And yes, the carry over concept is one out of left field. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Cheers, JW.
